Anne wore a pink Givenchy dress and styled her new blonde hair in a chic '60 pixie cut. Meanwhile, SJP wore a vintage floral dress and Fendi cuffs as she chatted with Anne inside the party. Both Anne and Sarah Jessica had crossed paths earlier this week when they both attended the 2013 Met Gala on Tuesday. They weren't the only stars still basking in the post-Met glow — Alexa Chung, who attended the ball earlier this week, also dropped by the Tate dinner and got a chance to chat with Anne and her husband, Adam Shulman. Ciara and Martha Stewart also attended the artsy affair.

The fun wasn't over for the Met Gala 2013 attendees in NYC last night as they flocked to the Standard Hotel following the ball for the official after party at the Boom Boom Room. Madonna stripped out of her bum-baring Met Gala outfit and changed into a fishnet body stocking and black lacy lingerie to mingle with guests like Katy Perry, Allison Williams and Frank Ocean. She wasn't the only star who made a costume change — Amanda Seyfried took off her gown and changed into a baggy black t-shirt to hit the dance floor with Frank. Meanwhile, Miranda Kerr met up with January Jones, Jennifer Lawrence arrived with Marion Cotillard, Gerard Butler mingled with Karolina Kurkova, andNicole Richie connected with Kirsten Dunst, and Mary-Kate Olsen snuggled with boyfriend Olivier Sarkozy. Mary-Kate and Olivier weren't the only couple at the late-night bash, as Jennifer Morrison was spotted holding hands with her Once Upon a Time co-star Sebastian Stan and Kate Bosworth hugged Michael Polish. Meanwhile, stars like Anne Hathaway and Taylor Swift were showing no signs of slowing down, using the mass exit of celebrities as a chance to catch up with their favourite small-screen stars like Game of Thrones' Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and New Girl's Zooey Deschanel.

Of course, just because the Met Gala wrapped up, that didn't mean the party had ended. Anne, Miranda, and many more celebrities hit up the after party at the Boom Boom Room later to dance the night away.
