How Anne Hathaway Is Working Her Blonde Hair

It was mere days ago that Anne Hathaway debuted her blonde hair at the Met Gala, but the actress is already showing us that she knows how to style it.

It was mere days ago that Anne Hathaway debuted her blonde hair at the Met Gala, but the actress is already showing us that she knows how to style it. Anne stepped out yesterday with a very different hairstyle than she'd worn to the punk-themed Met Gala. Her pixie cut was blow dried smooth and silky, creating a slight wispy bang that swept across her forehead. Reminiscent of the look model Twiggy wore in the '60s, this demure coif was quite a departure from the high-volume bouffant Anne donned on the red carpet on Tuesday. With such diversity this early on, we're looking forward to seeing what Anne does next.

Anne Hathaway Enters the Art World With the Help of SJP

Anne Hathaway and Sarah Jessica Parker brought Hollywood to the art world when they attended the Tate Americas Foundation Artists Dinner in NYC yesterday.

Anne Hathaway and Sarah Jessica Parker brought Hollywood to the art world when they attended the Tate Americas Foundation Artists Dinner in NYC yesterday. Anne wore a pink Givenchy dress and styled her new blonde hair in a chic '60 pixie cut. Meanwhile, SJP wore a vintage floral dress and Fendi cuffs as she chatted with Anne inside the party. Both Anne and Sarah Jessica had crossed paths earlier this week when they both attended the 2013 Met Gala on Tuesday. They weren't the only stars still basking in the post-Met glow — Alexa Chung, who attended the ball earlier this week, also dropped by the Tate dinner and got a chance to chat with Anne and her husband, Adam Shulman. Ciara and Martha Stewart also attended the artsy affair.

The hair and makeup at the Costume Institute Benefit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art is consistently some of the best of the year.

The hair and makeup at the Costume Institute Benefit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art is consistently some of the best of the year. And with a theme centering around the Punk: Chaos to Couture exhibit, high drama was a must-have look. But surprisingly, the best looks of the evening ran the gamut of sophisticated rebel to all-out rocker. Sarah Jessica Parker wowed the red carpet congregation with an over-the-top Trojan headpiece that was nestled among a twisting collection of fishtail braids. Nicole Richie was also a surprising arrival, sporting a wispy, gray beehive that was part powdered wig and part punk. Speaking of wigs, Madonna opted for a Bettie Page-inspired hairpiece, complete with short, blunt bangs.

Moving on to the blondes of the ball, Sienna Miller went all-out grunge with a seriously textured hairstyle embellished with a studded hairpiece, inky black liner, and a nude lipstick. And in one of the more jaw-dropping moments of the evening, Anne Hathaway stunned with a peroxide blonde bouffant, accented with lavender shadow and loads of liner. Whether they were giving punk a sophisticated spin or going completely chaotic, these five ladies stole the show in their own right. But who was your pick for the best punk beauty look of the Met Gala? Vote on all of our Met Gala polls here!

The fun wasn't over for the Met Gala 2013 attendees in NYC last night as they flocked to the Standard Hotel following the ball for the official after party at the Boom Boom Room. Madonna stripped out of her bum-baring Met Gala outfit and changed into a fishnet body stocking and black lacy lingerie to mingle with guests like Katy Perry, Allison Williams and Frank Ocean. She wasn't the only star who made a costume change — Amanda Seyfried took off her gown and changed into a baggy black t-shirt to hit the dance floor with Frank. Meanwhile, Miranda Kerr met up with January Jones, Jennifer Lawrence arrived with Marion Cotillard, Gerard Butler mingled with Karolina Kurkova, andNicole Richie connected with Kirsten Dunst, and Mary-Kate Olsen snuggled with boyfriend Olivier Sarkozy. The End of Punk: Stars Let Their Hair Down Leaving the Met Gala

The 2013 Met Gala may have given celebrities a chance to channel their inner punk rocker in NYC yesterday, but once the event drew to a close, it was clear that these edgy new looks were only meant to last for the night.

The 2013 Met Gala may have given celebrities a chance to channel their inner punk rocker in NYC yesterday, but once the event drew to a close, it was clear that these edgy new looks were only meant to last for the night. Stars like Cameron Diaz and Miranda Kerr were spotted returning to their normal selves as they left the bash, with Cameron chatting on her mobile as she waited for her car and Miranda enlisting Michael Kors to help her navigate the stairs in her heels. Emma Roberts got help from Jaime King as she left the party, clutching onto her pal's hand as she carefully walked down the museum's famous stairs while Gwen Stefani made a smooth exit with Gavin Rossdale. Meanwhile, stars like Anne Hathaway and Taylor Swift were showing no signs of slowing down, using the mass exit of celebrities as a chance to catch up with their favourite small-screen stars like Game of Thrones' Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and New Girl's Zooey Deschanel.

Of course, just because the Met Gala wrapped up, that didn't mean the party had ended. Anne, Miranda, and many more celebrities hit up the after party at the Boom Boom Room later to dance the night away.
