Keeping our Summer bod can often be a real test come Winter time. Prevention is key, so to beat the Winter blues and avoid the expanding waistline, we’ve got four tips, that might be just what you need.
- Avoid comfort eating: It’s easy to look straight to warming foods like pasta and potato bakes as soon as it gets a bit chilly outside. And although there’s nothing wrong with having these foods in moderation, try to limit the amount you have per week. Or why not try swapping one with an equally warming, but healthy recipe like Gwyneth Paltrow's Many Mushroom Soup.
- Sip a hot chocolate alternative: Most of us love a hot mug of chocolate goodness, but it’s easy to forget that you can gain weight by drinking liquid calories. Step inside to who's tried out the sexiest red carpet trend going around . . .
Gwyneth Paltrow has landed another job and, according to her, it's perfect for her busy lifestyle. Hugo Boss announced today that Gwyneth will be the face of its new Boss Jour Pour Femme fragrance. The new scent is the daytime counterpart to the brand's Nuit Pour Femme line of scents, which also features Gwyneth in its ads. She told WWD that modelling for a fragrance is the best new gig to add to her already hectic schedule. Gwyneth said, "I can only really do one film a year now because of my family and how it all works out, so it's so nice for me to be able to work for a great company and, you know, I'm going to Spain next week for two days so I still get to travel and meet really interesting people and have a work interaction. But it's not like I am out of the house for three months."
Gwyneth also revealed that she starts her day at 7am, when she wakes her kids up, drops them off at school, and then returns home to spend the rest of her day working on Goop. With her duties for Iron Man 3 wrapped up, Gwyneth is back to focusing her time and energy on her Internet newsletter. She threw a party for Goop's Summer season in London yesterday, which featured a star-studded guest list, including Kate Hudson and Tom Ford.

The two friends have each been staying busy, both personally and professionally — Gwyneth's weekly Goop newsletter is in its fourth year and has expanded to include designer collaborations and the recent launch of city guide apps. She also hit the red carpet for the Met Gala, celebrated big success with the blockbuster release of Iron Man 3, and gave us some laughs with her most over-the-top recent quotes.
