This week, we've been privy to a whole host of interesting topics as celebrities like Larry Emdur, Katy Perry, Jaime King, Alexa Chung, Lena Dunham, Taylor Swift, Dave Hughes and many more took to Twitter to express their thoughts. Larry was kicked out of the bathroom for a certain star at The Great Gatsby premiere in Sydney, while Katy Perry had a bit of fun with friend Taylor Swift's song lyrics. And how do we know that Katy and Taylor are still close? Taylor tweeted a message directly at Katy that was too lovely not to share. We had a lot of beautiful looks to pore over this week, what with a fancy Vogue dinner and the 2013 Cannes Film Festival taking place, but we had to be selective and whittle our list of favourites down to 10. When it comes to the absolute best, no-holds-barred beauty looks of the week, we have to be wowed — and wowed we were when we caught sight of Cara Delevingne's Cannes look. It was dramatic, sexy and could've easily gone wrong. . . but it was so right. Jennifer Lawrence also opted for a bold lip, and speaking of bold, we were huge fans of Nicole Kidman's futuristic ponytail. Last night The CW network held its upfront presentation in NYC. In addition to its popular stable of stars, such as The Vampire Diaries’ Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder — together on the same stage after their reported split — and the casts of The Carrie Diaries, Hart of Dixie and more shows, the event welcomed a group of Australian actors, including some newcomers to The CW family. Phoebe Tonkin and Claire Holt will star in The Vampire Diaries spin-off The Originals, Adelaide Kane takes centre stage as Mary, Queen of Scots in Reign, Luke Mitchell was there to support his new show The Tomorrow People, and Jay Ryan celebrated the second season of his show Beauty and the Beast, which premieres on Eleven on April 27.

Phoebe, Claire, Adelaide, Luke and Jay aren’t the only Aussies making waves on US primetime. Rebel Wilson and Sophie Lowe both have lead roles in new shows on the ABC network (watch the previews for their respective shows Super Fun Night and Once Upon a Time in Wonderland) while Lincoln Lewis, Bob Morley and Chris Egan are among the former Home and Away hotties making the jump to Hollywood.

When US Vogue and MAC Cosmetics host a dinner for Prabal Gurung, it's safe to assume the guest list is a pretty stylish set. That was the case at Chateau Marmont last night in LA, where the fashion crowd gathered to toast the designer clad in — what else? — a line-up of gorgeous Prabal Gurung looks. Diane Kruger made her way inside with beau Joshua Jackson, all while showing a little midriff in a solid crop top and a bold pair of printed pants. Ginnifer Goodwin hung with the designer du jour in a perfect metallic party dress, and Zoe Saldana showed her love for Prabal in a look from the Fall '13 collection.
