We were eased into the Spring Racing Carnival with the Caulfield Cup and Derby Day races, but today was what it all boiled down to: the 2013 Melbourne Cup. The pinnacle race of the season, this year's was a star studded affair, with international stars Kate Upton, Coco Rocha, Dita Von Teese, and Geri Halliwell all showing up in various marquees at Flemington.
In the Myer marquee, of course, races stalwart Jennifer Hawkins was front and centre alongside fellow ambassadors Kris Smith and Laura Dundovic, but this year all eyes were on Kate Waterhouse, as her mother Gai's horse Fiorente took the lead to take the prestigious Cup. We've covered the event live today — check out all the action from the 2013 Melbourne Cup!
The style set will travel from all over Australia — and the globe — to Melbourne tomorrow for the race that stops the nation, which basically guarantees a frock-fest for all of us who can't make it. This year we'll have international icons like Coco Rocha and Kate Upton on the guest list, as well as the usual crew of Australian race-goers like Jennifer Hawkins and Kate Waterhouse.

Derby Day is one of the biggest days on the Spring Racing schedule, and yesterday's event turned out to be one of the biggest and best yet. With a very impressive celebrity lineup hitting Flemington in Melbourne, there were no expenses spared in making it a Derby Day to remember.
In the Myer marquee, ambassadors Jennifer Hawkins (dressed her go-to designer Toni Maticevski), Kris Smith and Lauren Phillips all took their places, while international and local celebrities like Naomi Campbell, Poppy Delevingne, Tyson Beckford, expectant parents Hamish Blake and Zoe Foster Blake, Carrie Bickmore and many more filled out the stylish crowd.
G.H. MUMM provided the official champagne of the day, and brought international model Pia Miller to the fore to host and present a couple of events across the day, including very special Moulin Rouge performances. We've got all photos from the day — click through now to catch all the action!
