Nicole Richie and Sarah Jessica Parker both wore white at the launch of their new digital series with AOL in NYC yesterday. Nicole was at the event to talk about her new show, Candidly Nicole, which is based on her Twitter feed. The first episode of Candidly Nicole has already been released through AOL On and revolves around Nicole trying to get her "tramp stamp" tattoo removed. She said during the video, "[The tattoo] just means a certain thing and I don't want to be a part of that group." Meanwhile, SJP will be going behind the camera for her new upcoming show, City.Ballet, which follows the drama behind the scenes at the New York City Ballet, and will premiere in September. The two stars were joined at the event by Tracy Anderson, who is also making her own show with Gwyneth Paltrow, titled Second Chances. The digital series will follow Tracy and Gwyneth as they interview women who have overcome various hardships.

Gwyneth Paltrow and Kim Kardashian joined up yesterday to celebrate the launch of celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson's new flagship studio in Brentwood, California. Gwyneth wore a purple Victoria Beckham dress and Michael Kors shoes as she lent her support to her longtime friend. Gwyneth spoke with us at the event and shared one of her motivation secrets for getting into workout mode. She said, "I just sob and kick and scream and then just force myself to do it." Gwyneth isn't the only fan of Tracy's intense workouts — Kim has said that she is working out with Tracy throughout her pregnancy so she can stay active and healthy. Other stars like Molly Sims and Stacy Keibler also showed their support for Tracy and her famous fitness method at the launch.
Ever lusted after Gwyneth Paltrow's sleek blow-dry? Well, you're in luck, as the actress is planning to open a blow-dry bar as her latest beauty endeavour. Gwyneth will be collaborating with trainer Tracy Anderson and hairstylist David Babaii to open an exclusive salon in April. The David Babaii Blow Dry Bar will nested within Tracy Anderson's Brentwood studio in LA, so it's a members-only experience. But clients will be able to get a blow-dry post-workout or just a simple style that is sweat-resistant. Gwyneth has been on a roll in the beauty arena with a Max Factor spokeswoman slot, a Hugo Boss fragrance deal, and her lacquer collaboration with Goop and Butter London. Makeup, fragrance, nails, and now hair — Gwyneth is well on her way to amassing a beauty empire.
Gwyneth Paltrow stepped out in shades of white yesterday for an event in NYC. It's been an exciting few weeks for Gwyneth, who turned 40 on Sept. 27. She's been spotted all over Europe in recent days celebrating the milestone with husband Chris Martin and their kids, Apple and Moses. They partied on vacation in Italy before Gwyneth hosted a star-studded bash in London on Wednesday with close friends like Hugh Grant, Stella McCartney, and Mario Testino. In addition to toasting her birthday, it's rumoured Gwyneth is also in talks to produce a musical about '80s group The Go-Go's. Gwyneth's back in the States for now to lend her support to a close pal, trainer Tracy Anderson. Tracy's credited for sculpting Gwyneth's famous frame — Tracy even created one-of-a-kind fitness routines Gwyneth could do while shooting on location or traveling on the road with Chris. Tracy recently gave birth to her second child and is now promoting a new series of workouts created for women who are expecting, appropriately titled The Pregnancy Project.
Nicole Richie was the centre of attention last night at NYC's Bergdorf Goodman, where she hosted a small party in honour of her Spring/Summer 2011 House of Harlow and Winter Kate lines. Her trip to the Big Apple was a quick one and won't leave her much time for Fashion Week fun, as she was only scheduled to attend the bash and a tutorial for the store's employees today. Nicole's pals like Charlotte Ronson and Jonathan Cheban were among those who turned out to support her design efforts, along with her fitness buddy Tracy Anderson. Tracy's in the city for just a few days herself, as she's heading to the West Coast soon to intensely work with Gwyneth Paltrow ahead of Sunday's Grammys. In addition to chatting about her famous clients like Jake Gyllenhaal and Ashley Greene Tracy revealed that Nicole is a great pupil and they actually have a little project in the works. Tracy said, "It's going amazing, because she is an unbelievable dancer. We actually have a little surprise that we're going to release here soon . . . a little Tracy Anderson/Nicole Richie collaboration!" Nicole didn't show off her famous moves yesterday, though, as she tweeted before bed, "Wow, what a night! Thank you Bergdorfs! I know this city never sleeps, but I do. Goodnight!"
Gwyneth Paltrow showed some leg last night at the Bent on Learning benefit in NYC. It was Gwyneth's second year in a row attending the philanthropic event and this time she took a special trip to make it—Gwynnie had been in LA promoting Iron Man 2 with a press conference and big premiere. The woman behind Gwyneth's impressive pins, Tracy Anderson, also hit the red carpet, while Madonna and her daughter Lourdes' late arrival actually stunned the usually loud photographers into silence. Tracy stopped training Madonna to focus on Gwyneth, and their split was rumoured to have possibly caused drama between Gwyneth and Madonna. They all seemed to get along just fine last night, though, to celebrate the fitness-minded charity that offers yoga and meditation to public school students in NYC.
Madonna has sacked her trainer Tracy Anderson. Muscle-bound Madge has come under criticism for her physique. Did she make the right decision?
